We are very excited to announce our registration system is open for all!

We are hoping to start the program June 21. As you can imagine, the requirements for hosting your sailor are stringent in order to keep everyone safe.

For us to have a program, we must:

    • Be inspected by the Salem Board of Health.
    • Demonstrate a plan that complies with the Commonwealth’s regulations concerning social distancing and sanitization.
    • Provide our plan to the parents of children that are registered.

Unfortunately that plan reduces our enrollment capacity while at the same time increases our staffing needs. This results in less revenue and more costs for us to run the program.

For us to financially be able to have a program this year, we need commitments from you now. That means registering your child and for no more than two weeks. Any additional weeks will be wait-listed.  If you need scholarship assistance contact me (rick@sailsalem.org) as soon as possible.  Our budget has very little room for error.

Sail Salem, at its discretion, may cancel scheduled programs. Programs will be held on most rainy days - Sail Salem will determine if conditions are not suitable for sailing or land based classes and games. Program fees will be refunded at the rate of $60 per day for weather cancellations.
